The country’s number one healthcare media company, Australian Doctor Group, announced today the launch of AusDoc.PLUS, the largest and most comprehensive medical news and education website for doctors and healthcare professionals.
Showcasing ADG’s award winning mastheads, AusDoc.PLUS is the new digital destination for Australian Doctor, Medical Observer, How to Treat, 6minutes, Specialist Updates and Pharmacy News.
ADG’s 75,000-strong subscriber base of highly engaged healthcare professionals will now be directed to the mega-site for their medical news, opinion articles and clinical education content.
ADG’s managing director, Bryn McGeever says AusDoc.PLUS is designed to make it easier for the audience to stay informed and on top of what matters.
The new site is the result of months of testing and continuous feedback from a select group of users who were granted early access.
“While GPs make up the bulk of our readership, we also enjoy a very healthy following from specialists and allied health professionals who want to keep their fingers on the pulse,” he says.
With more than 15 new articles published every day, AusDoc.PLUS covers the latest in medico-political and clinical news, analysis and opinion.
“We’re investing heavily in our digital capabilities,” says McGeever, adding that ADG has seen a 51% increase in mobile sessions and a 32% increase in traffic over the last two years.
The new website also features clinical quizzes for doctors to test their knowledge, tips and tricks to support their clinical practice, and indepth patient case studies.
CPD accredited education is another important part of the offering, says McGeever, with webinars set to be the new norm.
“AusDoc.PLUS reflects a fundamental shift in the way our subscribers want to be able to access medical news and information quickly and easily. The website is purpose-built as a one-stop shop for Australian doctors and other healthcare professionals,” says McGeever.
