AusDoc is the #1 platform of choice for GPs in the annual readership survey of medical publications in 2025

For more than 40 years AustralianDoctor (AusDoc) has stood out as as the first choice for Australian GPs and 2025 is no different, reaffirming its position in the annual readership survey of medical publications (2025) as the most trusted and widely read medical portfolio (website, newsletters and print).

“AusDoc provides the most up-to-date information relating to general practice in Australia” GP

A survey of more than 400 doctors showed AusDoc continues to dominate in terms of value, trust and overall usage compared to any other market player.

Managing Director Bryn McGeever said: “With a database of more than 62k AHPRA verified doctors choosing to call AusDoc home, it is little wonder the survey results mirror the digital growth we see every month. We have seen digital engagement growth more than 60% in the last 12 months showing a flight to trust and independence that AusDoc is known for.”

This result isn’t just a reflection of brand loyalty; it’s evidence of the enduring value AusDoc provides in helping doctors stay informed and confident in their decision-making.

The dominance continues in newsletters. Almost three-quarters (75%) of GPs surveyed read an AusDoc newsletter within the last month or fortnight, up slightly from 2023. By contrast, only 43% had read The Medical Republic newsletter in the same period, 62% AJGP, and 48% Medicine Today.
